If you’re reading this, you belong to a very special group. Thank you for attending my Ujamaa Brunch, a celebration of your entrepreneurial spirit and the prelaunch gathering of Grand Pearl Communications.

For a long time I’ve wanted to start a business doing what I love—writing and helping others. A large part of my inspiration for finally launching is all of you. While I was ruminating, you were doing it. And doing it. And doing it well. I soon realized I am surrounded at work, church, sorority, and community by amazing women with great businesses. What if we came together, shared info and began to maximize our network? That’s Ujamaa.

Inspired by memories of my grandma, Pearl White, I created Grand Pearl Communications to be a full-service writing and communications agency to support businesses and individuals with their writing and communication needs.
